The University of the Balearic Island invest Mrs. Nancy E. Bockstael as Doctor Honoris Causa of the UIB in compliance with the agreement of the Governing Council of 13 May 2009.
On the occasion of the investiture ceremony Dr. Nancy E. Bockstael planted a Prunus Amygdalus, almond tree, which will preserve her memory among the university community.
